Howling Moon Sauna: Fraser’s Ultimate Post-Adventure Reset

‍ ‍

After a long day on the trails, slopes, or river, Fraser has a new way to unwind that feels equal parts mountain adventure and deep relaxation.

Welcome to Howling Moon Sauna, a wood-fired sauna experience tucked into the Rockies that turns your post-adventure routine into something worth planning your whole day around.

Sauna, But Make It Fraser

This is not your typical spa.

Howling Moon Sauna brings a mobile, wood-fired sauna experience to Fraser, blending heat, nature, and community into one seriously memorable session.

Set just outside of town, the sauna offers a simple but powerful rhythm:

  • Step into the heat

  • Step out into the fresh mountain air

  • Repeat as needed

It’s sauna culture, Fraser-style.

What to Expect

Whether you’re dropping in solo or bringing your crew, the experience is designed to be flexible and easy.

  • Community Sessions: Relaxed, shared sessions where you move between sauna and outdoor space at your own pace

  • Private Bookings: Reserve the sauna for your group and make it your own

  • Pop-Ups & Events: Sometimes the sauna hits the road for special events around Fraser

Sessions typically run around 50 minutes for community experiences or 90 minutes for private groups, giving you plenty of time to settle in and fully unwind.

Hot, Cold, Repeat

Part of the magic is the contrast.

Guests can pair the heat of the sauna with the cool mountain air or even a cold plunge for a full-body reset. This contrast-style experience is known for helping with recovery, circulation, and overall relaxation.

Or, you can skip the cold plunge entirely and roll in the snow or just sit outside, breathe in the alpine air, and enjoy the quiet.

No pressure. No rules. Just vibes.

The Perfect Après

In Fraser, adventure doesn’t end when you leave the trail.

Howling Moon Sauna is quickly becoming a go-to après activity, a place to recover, reconnect, and soak in the moment after a day outside.

Think:

  • Post-ride recovery after a day on the bike

  • A warm-up after skiing or snowshoeing

  • A unique way to wind down after exploring town

It’s the kind of experience that makes a good day in the mountains even better.

Sauna for the Soul

At its core, Howling Moon Sauna is about more than just heat.

It’s about slowing down, stepping outside, and creating space to relax in a place that already does that naturally. The founders describe it as a way to “relax, rejuvenate and build community in nature,” and that’s exactly what it feels like.
